Worm Composting Workshop

Missouri City Green, in partnership with Fort Bend Master Gardeners, will present a family-friendly worm composting workshop where participants will learn how to create and maintain a worm composting system.
The Workshop will be taught by a certified Fort Bend Master Gardener Composting Specialist and open to everyone. The cost is $20 per registrant which includes one FREE worm compost bin to take home. Accompanying family members may attend for free. Children, accompanied by an adult, are welcome to attend.
Pre-registration is required and the class is limited to 25 registrants. No registration will be taken on the day of the workshop. No refunds will be given for cancellations.
Composting with worms is often called an “organic garbage disposal system”. Worms can efficiently recycle vegetable peelings and paper products through their bodies to produce a rich, earth-smelling soil conditioner that plants love.
