Food Production Gardens

Long before humans gardened to enhanced the beauty of their homes, we gardened to produce food. From grains and vegetables to fruits and herbs, edible landscapes enhance our lives by giving us fresh, healthful and tasty food.

Our Demonstration Gardens include seasonal vegetables, herbs, and fruit. In fact, our master gardeners who work in these edible landscapes grow hundreds of pounds of food, which are donated to Fort Bend County Food Banks.
