Our Website was developed by volunteer Master Gardeners from Fort Bend County and is provided as a public service. We are affiliated with the Texas AgriLife Extension Service.

However, we use an external service to provide us with a search capability for our site. This third-party search service includes sponsored advertisements. We use this service because it is provided at no cost to us. We do not necessarily support any of the ads listed when you use this search service.
We do not request any personal information or collect any information that personally identifies you or allows you to be personally contacted except for the Hotline. The Hotline may request either your phone number, email address, or mailing address in order to provide you with answers to your horticultural questions. NO EMAIL ADDRESS, TELEPHONE NUMBER, or MAILING ADDRESS will be shared with any third party.
Our blog is available for viewing. However, if you wish to add a comment, you must be REGISTERED in order to do so. The registration process will require you to enter a Username and a valid Email address. The email address is used to forward you a password. Once you receive your password, you will be able to enter comments. Your email will remain confidential and only the blog administrators have access to that information. NO INFORMATION WILL BE SHARED WITH ANY THIRD PARTY.
Our Mailing List is an opt-in, opt-out service providing current, relevent information concerning general horticultural interest subjects. To register for this service, you must include a valid Email address. No other information is collected about you. This information is kept in a secure database and will not be shared with any third-party including Texas AgriLife Extension or FBCMG. Only the Administrator of this account will be able to view subscribers’ email account addresses.
