Fort Bend County Master Gardeners have a group of dedicated volunteers who staff a Hotline office to answer your gardening related questions. Hotline volunteers follow these guiding principles:
- Answers must be factual with minimal or no negative effect on the environment.
- All recommendations must be based on scientific research from Texas A & M, Land Grant Universities, horticultural books or publications.
- Recommendations should follow the Integrated Pest Management approach.
The hotline is staffed most non-holiday weekdays from 9am to noon. People are encouraged to send an email and requested to include photos, when possible. Or, you can call and leave a voicemail. If you wish to come talk to someone at the Hotline, we recommend you call first to make sure someone is staffing the Hotline. Note: If you bring a specimen to show the master gardener, no citrus or citrus products are allowed on the property due to the citrus quarantines.
You may also fill out the form below and a Hotline volunteer will get back with you soon.
