The Entomology Group meets every 4th Wednesday at 9:30 AM in the Annex Conference Room. The meeting is open to all Master Gardeners who have an interest in learning about 'bugs'.

Texas Master Gardeners Directors Meeting. Held first Saturday of each quarter except for the quarter in which the annual conference is held. That quarter the meeting is held at the conference.
“Advanced Master Gardener – Entomology” training will include experts speaking on insect identification, insect diversity, integrated pest management (IPM), pesticide safety, insects in the garden and landscape, butterfly gardening, and digital photography for insect identification. Fort Bend County Master Gardener's Board of Directors meets every second Tuesday of the month at 9 AM.
Deborah Birge, Advance Trained Fort Bend County Master Gardener, will speak on the topic of "Got Trees & Grass & Weeds" at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 207 Bob-O-Link Lane, Wharton, TX 77488. The presentation will be from 9:30-10:30am at the request of the Wharton County Garden Club. RT is offered.

Taking care of the gardener is as important as taking care of the plants. Learn from Patrick Lavelle about First Aid and proper use of tools as well as tips for the aging gardener. Lunch from 11:15-11:45 followed by the presentation.
